Ingredients
  

For the Steak:

  • ½ pound Boneless Sirloin Steak
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon  Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon  Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 Eggs (large)
  • Vegetable Oil (for Frying)

For the Gravy:

  • 1/2 cup  Butter (salted)
  • 1/4 cup  Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the steak: Flatten with a mallet. Add cayenne, pepper, salt, and garlic powder to taste.
  • Coat the steak: Mix flour and seasoning. Combine buttermilk and eggs.
  • Dip and coat: Coat steak in flour, then in egg mixture, and flour again.
  • Fry the steak: Heat oil in a skillet. To cook, cook each side for 4-5 minutes until golden.
  • Make the creamy gravy: Melt butter, add flour, cook, add milk, stir.
  • Serve: Remove steak from pan and let it rest. Enjoy!
