- 1/4 cup Onion (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup Carrot (finely chopped)
- 2 cups Taro root (peeled and cubed)
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- Salt and pepper To your liking
- Burger buns
- Toppings of choice
Boil salted water, add taro, cook for 10-12 mins, then drain.
Transfer the taro to a bowl, and mash until smooth.
Mix breadcrumbs, onion, carrot, soy sauce, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Shape mixture into patties.
Heat a non-stick pan, and add oil.
Cook patties for 5-7 mins on each side until golden.
Toast buns, and assemble burgers with your favorite toppings.
